After a full renovation in Milton, we installed seven siren-and-strobe security cameras with every cable routed through the attic: no exposed wiring, no drywall opened, and the same camera brand as the owner’s business, so one app shows both.
Property: Detached home, Milton, Ontario (renovation just completed)
Completed: August 2026
Services: Security camera installation, concealed wiring
Installed: 7 cameras with built-in siren and strobe
The problem
This family finished renovating first and only then decided to add cameras. That’s the most common order we see, and the hardest one for wiring. New paint, new trim and new finishes meant two rules for the job: no cable running along the walls or siding, and no holes that the renovators would have to come back and fix.

How we hid the wiring
Every cable was routed through the attic and dropped down to its camera location from above, so nothing runs on the outside of the house. Inside, no drywall was opened. From the street, all you see is the camera.
The attic is our first choice on finished houses whenever the camera positions allow it. It keeps the outside clean, and a cable that isn’t exposed can’t simply be cut by someone who wants the camera off.

What we installed
- 7 cameras with built-in siren and strobe, so a detected person triggers a light and sound warning instead of just a recording
- The same camera brand the client already uses at their business, so one app shows both the house and the store
Matching an existing system is worth asking about. Two brands means two apps, two sets of passwords and two ways of finding footage when you actually need it.
Result
Seven cameras covering the property, no visible wiring on a freshly finished house, nothing for the renovation crew to repair, and one app for home and business.
